My New Adventure!

Hey Everyone! I'm back! I've taken another hiatus from the blogging world. Drew, Charlotte and I took a two week road trip and traveled up the East Coast. It was AMAZING! I will be blogging all about our adventures soon, so stay tuned :)

Another reason why I've taken a break is because I'm starting a new adventure... I'm now a Rodan + Fields Consultant. If you're not sure what that is, read further for more details!

Rodan + Fields are the dermatologists that developed and created the well known product, Proactive for acne control. They've recently developed a new line, named after themselves, specifically targeting anti-aging and their products are remarkable! Rodan + Fields was the #1 skin selling product in Bloomingdales, Saks & Nordstrom in 2008. However, after marketing research revealed that women buy through word of mouth... they decided to pull it from the shelves in order to reach the masses, and it's taken off unbelievably! It's been raved about on Oprah, The Today Show and has been featured in various magazines such as Vogue. Even Hollywood has gotten wind of these products! Britney Spears and Angelina Jolie are just two to name that have started using Rodan + Fields.

Rodan + Fields consists of 4 different regimens that are clinically proven. If you're interested in learning more about these 4 different regimens, please contact me. I can go over all 4 of them with you in detail as well as conduct a 5 minute skin consultation for a personal recommendation.

Here is a short video about the products:

My product website: https://rdueitt.myrandf.com/

If you're interested in not only investing in these amazing products to change your skin, there is a business opportunity to get involved as I have and become a consultant. I would LOVE to talk to you more about this amazing opportunity that is changing my life as well as my family's.

Here is a video about my business partner and top earner in the company, Sarah

Video from the doctors themselves who created the product.

The time is now! If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you!

Eleven Months

Our little Pumpkin,
How can you be 11 months old?? Just one month away from the big O-N-E! You constantly are a reminder of how wonderful and amazing our God is because you are so perfect in every way. I don't know how we got so lucky to be your parents. Your smile and giggle make our hearts skip a beat. Mama and Daddy love you so much!
Love,
Mama

11 month Stats
Weight: 22 lbs
Length: 30 inches
Head: 17 inches
Eating: nursing exclusively 4-5 times a day. You are now eating three meals including snacks in between. You love food! New foods that you've had are: tomatoes, quesadillas, chicken tenders, salmon, catfish, red snapper, jambalaya, rice, beans, brussel sprouts, pizza, macaroni and cheese and pancakes! Obviously most of these foods you eat in teeny tiny bites. It's fun to explore new foods with you everyday.
Bedtime: Sleeping beautifully! You typically sleep 11.5 hours every night straight. We just just got back from our 2 week vacation and you're sleeping patterns have changed a little. You're now waking up again once in the night to nurse but hopefully you'll get back on routine soon.
AwakeYou're awake so much more now and love to play and explore!
Naps: Still taking two naps a day. I think you are wanting to drop your first nap any day now but this mama would like to keep it in the schedule :)
Diapers: size 3
Clothes: You're still in between 12 and 18 month clothes but in 18 month pajamas.
Favorites: You are getting in everything! You crawl everywhere and are getting really fast at it. You also love anything that is not your toys. This is becoming challenging because you always want what you're not supposed to have. You still love Lucy but you're getting more attached to things these days like your baby doll, little bear and Gladys the giraffe.
Latest Tricks: Crawling everywhere! You also clap your hands now especially when we sing "pat-a-cake", you still "dance" and wave your arms. We are still working on blowing kisses :) You don't have any new words this month, still sticking with "mama" "dada" "baba" and "puh-puh." You did amazing traveling on our two week road trip across the east coast and so I guess you can say a trick is that you're now a seasoned traveler and enjoy the car. What a great baby you are!! I can't believe that you're so close to one!

10 Months

I'm a little late posting this but on September 6th our little angel turned 10 months old. Only TWO more months until her first birthday!

Miss Charlotte,
You are such a little joy and blessing in our lives. My love for you grows more and more everyday that I feel as if sometimes my heart could burst. You're exploring and so curious and I love to watch you think about everything you do. This year is already going so quickly and I don't want to miss anything. I love you to the moon and back.
Love,
Mama

10  month Stats
Weight: 21 lbs
Length: 29 inches
Head: 17 inches
Eating: nursing exclusively 4-5 times a day. You are now eating three meals including snacks in between. You love food! New foods that you've had are: strawberries, scrambled egg yolk, spaghetti (you love it!), macaroni and cheese, broccoli, chicken, ground beef, and turkey oh and you had a few tastes of a cinnamon roll.
Bedtime: Sleeping beautifully! You typically sleep 11.5 hours every night straight.
AwakeYou're awake so much more now and love to play and explore. You are my curious little cutie :)
Naps: You are now officially to two naps a day. You have fallen more into a schedule of taking your're morning nap around 9 am and then your afternoon nap around 1 or 2. Each nap lasts from anywhere between an hour to 1.5.
Diapers: size 3
Clothes: 12 month in most brands but you can wear 12-18 month also. You are growing out of your 12 month pjs so quickly that your Grammy & Gran just spoiled us with all new pjs in 18 month size. They look HUGE but you are so long.
Favorites: You're into exploring everything right now and you've learned to drop the Army crawl and full on crawl around the house. If I let you, you would explore the whole house! It's becoming a challenge to just let you sit and play with toys because you are on the go all the time. You still love your jumperoo and you're beginning to pull up on a few things. Recently we lowered your crib because you've figured out how to scoot around in your crib and sit up in the corner. You will wait sitting up for me to come get you in the mornings and after nap. You always have the cutest little smile on your face so happy to see me. Lucy also tops this list too! You love your sister!
Latest Tricks: You are now crawling everywhere. You pull up on a few things... you love to rock back and forth. When we say "dance dance" you shake your hands and move your body. Everything is "ba ba." Still say mama and dada and we think "puh puh" is for puppy :) You wave bye bye and we are trying to teach you to blow kisses. What an exciting month of changes we've had! Oh and I forgot to mention that we took you to your first A&M Football game and you "cheered" on the Aggies to a victory!! You LOVED the game and we can't wait to bring you back in the future.

Another trip to CC!

A few weekends ago Drew and I decided to head back down to our hometown and enjoy some good food, good company and soak up the salty air. We've been so busy this summer that it's nice to relax when we go home and just enjoy the city. Before we got to Corpus Christi, we stopped at Drew's family's ranch in Refugio. Charlotte had never been before so we loaded up her and Lucy on the Polaris and drove around the land. She had so much fun!

Drew and his girl :)
beautiful Texas land

Lucy loved the Polaris, haha
I was also ESTATIC because my best friend, Gina, was also visiting CC during her fall trip to TX. Unfortunately we were only able to spend one day together but at least we had that. We loved getting the girls together for a play date and lunch date. Oh how I wish we could have these all the time!

Annabel and Charlotte

play date at the water gardens :)

love my bff! wish we could have days like this everyday!

Saturday night, Drew and I took Charlotte down to the seawall to see the sailboats (where Drew proposed to me!) and dinner at our favorite restaurant, Waterstreet. I really miss living on the water.

What a great weekend we had! Can't wait to go back in a few weeks.

two story Whataburger, what! what!

Nine Months

My little Sunshine,
You are growing so fast and doing so many wonderful things that I almost think this is the best phase of your life! I do miss those infant/newborn days terribly but I love how interactive you are and to see you learning new things everyday. You love to discover anything within your reach and when you say "mama" and "dada" it melts our hearts. Nine months ago you blessed our lives beyond words and life just can't get any sweeter!

I love you,
Mama

9  month Stats
Weight: 20.4 lbs
Length: 28 3/4 inches
Head: 17 inches
Eating: nursing exclusively 5-6 times a day. Continuing to eat breakfast every morning and dinner every night. New foods that you've had are: white potato and French fries, whole wheat toast, cheese, frozen yogurt and a few tastes of ice cream!
Bedtime: Still sleeping like a princess! You typically sleep 10-11.5 hours straight.
AwakeAwake most of the day besides your naps. You love to play contently with your toys and jump in your jumperoo and learn to scoot on the floor.
Naps: Still on our 3 naps a day. Morning nap and afternoon are longer usually 1-1.5 hours and the last nap of the day is catnap of about 30 minutes. Maybe ready to drop that soon!
Diapers: size 3
Clothes: 6-12 months in most brands, 9 months in Carter's and 12 month jammies, you haven't grown too much this month from last month and you're starting to thin out a little.
Favorites: You are obsessed with your jumperoo. You can jump in that thing forever if I let you. Your legs are so strong from it that I think you might be a big jumper like your Mommy was when she cheered. You love to scoot around and you can army crawl forward now. It won't be long until you are crawling every where! You still love your toes so much and you love to giggle and laugh when we make funny faces at you.
Latest Tricks: You can now scoot forwards! You also started 2 weeks ago waving "bye-bye" and "hi" when you see people. You are not shy and will basically go to anyone that will hold you... as long as Mama is in the room :) You laugh and giggle at everything and you have gotten to a sitting position by yourself a few times. This month has been so fast but so fun! I can't wait to see how far you've come next month... maybe pulling up? We also started giving you chunkier foods and you love to pick them up yourself and put it in your mouth. It used to end up all over the floor but you can finally get it in there yourself. What fun we are having at mealtimes now!

FIVE on Friday!

Well I missed last week's because we were on vacation but here is my FIVE on Friday!

one.
we got a babysitter for the FIRST time!
Clara is my sweet friend, Tamara's daughter. She just turned 15 and recently has babysat 6 month old twins! I knew I could trust her if she had been able to accomplish that! WHEW! She is super sweet and reminds me of myself when I was her age :) She had been asking to babysit since I found out I was pregnant. Tamara (her mama) and our other friend Tori and I wanted to go to a movie and since I hadn't been to the movies since I was pregnant (8+ months ago ya'll!) it was t.i.m.e. Charlotte did amazing and it was so great! Can't wait to have Miss Clara back to play with  my baby girl!

two.
O.P.I. Cajun Shrimp
This is my FAVORITE color for summer! I seriously count down until summer so I can get my Cajun Shrimp on my toes & nails :) It's the perfect combination of red, orange and coral all mixed in together. They also now make it in shellac so I love to get that on my nails to last longer (especially with all these diaper changes that are now a part of my daily life!) :) Go get you some girls!

three.
A Little Salty to Cut the Sweet

I mentioned three books that I just finished reading on another Five on Friday post but I just finished this one and it is SO CUTE! Everything Southern and super sweet. It made me laugh, cry and just want to become best friends with Sophie. I feel like I really know her now (even though I've been reading her blog for awhile now, she's just now my new best friend and she doesn't even know it!) Go buy this book and read her blog at boomama.net

four.
Pretty Wicked Moms

I have to admit something about myself... I'm addicted to trashy/reality tv... Okay so maybe I'm addicted to tv in general but I LOVE LOVE my shows (another post on that someday! haha!) I'm a Lifetime Television lover and when I saw the previews for this show, I laughed out loud! But O.M.G! How can there really people in this universe like this?! I started off thinking I liked Miranda the best but now Emily & Nicole are totally my favorite. Go watch it! You'll laugh!

five.
Amazon Prime/Amazon Mom
We love it! I signed up a few months ago and with my new subscription I got three months free of Amazon Mom. Amazon Prime is AMAZING but so is Amazon Mom. I get free coupons on all baby things and with the prime/mom subscription I get free 2 day shipping. I now order all of Charlotte's diapers, wipes, diaper genie refills and any other baby things and bam! It's delivered right to my door. And not to mention we love getting packages in the mail :) This little one likes the boxes!

Why I Want to be Tami Taylor...

I love small towns, Texas football, high school rivalries, crowds yelling in the stands, my high school fight song and cheering on my favorite teams. What can I say? I was a cheerleader back in the day and I love Friday Night Lights! If you know me, you know I'm obsessed with this show. I might just talk your ear off convincing you to watch the entire show. It's THAT good! Texas Forever...

I also LOVE Tami Taylor. Well okay... Connie Britton. But her character in my favorite show is, Tami Taylor. I didn't hop on the band wagon when Friday Night Lights was actually airing on television. Drew was the one that got me into watching it but I can honestly say I've watched every single episode probably a hundred times and I can continue to watch them a thousand times. I LOVE Friday Night Lights! (I also am EXTREMLY obsessed with Scott Porter aka... Jason Street... If he asked me to marry him I honestly think I would faint! or maybe say yes)

Tami Taylor is the epitome of a true southern Texan woman. She married a smokin' hot man... umm hello Coach Eric Taylor?! She is a wonderful partner. She always stood by her husband in any decision that he made. Even if it was difficult she never stopped believing in him. She is an amazing mother to her two daughters and she also is a wonderful friend. She was at one point the counselor and then principal in the show. She was always lending an ear to listen to anyone's problems and help them. And she sure did help many, many people in the show.

Why would you not want to be this amazing woman?? I know it's silly because she is a fictional character but I think it has a lot to do the kind of mom and wife I want to be. I aspire to be perfect. I know most definitely that I am not. But I want to be the kind of wife that my husband is proud of and can say that I stand by him with any decision. I want to be the kind of mother that Charlotte grows up knowing that she is so incredibly loved and can talk to me about anything and I will support her in whatever path she chooses to follow. I will be her biggest cheerleader in life. I also want to be a friend that always is known for being a good listener and supporter and will never judge you.

"There's not a person in the world that could do this except for you. This is what you do. I've seen you do it with my own eyes. I believe in you. I believe in you with every cell of my being." -Tami Taylor

Ya'll don't you just love her?? Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go watch another episode of FNL :)
